About the product
What is the Cellnce Golden Castor Oil Roll-On?
A 50 mL (1.7 fl oz) amber glass bottle of organic, cold-pressed castor oil with a rose quartz roller. It gives you all the moisture of castor oil without the mess of a big bottle or a dropper.
What's in it?
One ingredient: 100% organic castor oil (Ricinus communis seed oil). No fillers, no fragrance and no added preservatives.
What does "cold-pressed and hexane-free" mean?
The oil is pressed from the seeds without high heat. Some cheaper castor oils are extracted with hexane, a chemical solvent. Ours isn't.
Is it certified organic?
Yes. Our castor oil is USDA Organic certified and Non-GMO Project Verified, and every batch is third-party tested.
Why amber glass?
Amber glass protects the oil from light, which helps keep it fresh. It also means no plastic touches the oil.
Why a rose quartz roller?
The stone stays cool on the skin and spreads a thin, even layer, so you use just the right amount. Applying it turns into a small massage, which makes it easy to stick with every day.
How to use
Where can I use it?
On your face, lash line and brows, around your belly button, on your scalp and hairline, on cuticles and on any dry patches such as elbows, knees and heels.
How do I use it on my lashes and brows?
With your eyes closed, roll a very thin layer along the lash line and through your brows before bed. A little goes a long way, and using too much can make your vision blurry for a few minutes.
What is belly-button oiling?
A traditional evening ritual. Roll the oil around your navel and massage it in slow circles for a couple of minutes before sleep. Many people find it a relaxing way to wind down.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes. Castor oil is thick, so most people use it at night. Roll a little onto clean, slightly damp skin and press it in. You can also massage along your jaw and down your neck for a de-puffing face massage.
How often should I use it?
Most people use it once a day, at night. Consistency matters more than quantity, so build it into your bedtime routine.
When will I see results?
Everyone is different. Skin usually feels softer within days. For lashes and brows, give it at least 6 to 8 weeks of nightly use.
How long does a bottle last?
It depends how many areas you use it on. Used nightly on lashes and brows alone, a bottle lasts for months.
Safety
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
It's a single, fragrance-free ingredient, but any natural oil can irritate some people. Patch test on your inner arm or jaw for 24 hours before your first full use.
Can I use it during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Please speak to your doctor or midwife before using any new product during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Can I drink it or take it internally?
No. This product is for external use only.
What if it gets in my eyes?
Rinse with clean water. A little blurriness is normal if you apply too much near the lash line. Stop using it if irritation continues.
How should I store it?
Keep the cap on and store it somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight. Wipe the roller clean now and then.
